Hands – Diversity And Inclusion

In this IIL inclusion and wellbeing webinar, Carla Buckle talks to those who want to improve their understanding of perimenopause and menopause. Regardless of age, stage, or gender, menopause affects everyone in some way, in your personal life or at work.

In this session, participants will learn practical, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support symptom management, weight management, and overall well-being. As hormonal changes in midlife can feel overwhelming and may affect work and daily life, this talk provides clarity and reassurance, leaving attendees informed, inspired, and equipped to navigate this transition with confidence and renewed vitality.

This talk provides practical tools to help individuals better support themselves or the women in their lives during this important life transition.

Learning objectives:

  • An understanding of why menopause is a workplace issue and how to create a friendly and supportive environment

  • An understanding of the key hormonal changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause, and how these contribute to common symptoms

  • An understanding of the impact of stress hormones on menopause symptoms and evidence-based strategies to support stress resilience

  • An understanding of the importance of movement, sleep, and self-care in supporting hormonal health during midlife
