In 2021, Brit launched Ki as a new Lloyd's syndicate writing a broad range of classes of business. Syndicate 1618 is the first fully digital and algorithmically driven Lloyd's of London syndicate offering instant capacity, accessible anywhere, at any time.
This talk gives a background to Ki, a view of how an algorithm can get support scaling and disrupt the 300+-year-old industry and how having the right people is critical when doing something so different.
