10,000 Black Interns - an insurer's experience
In this IIL inclusion and diversity webinar, Sally Blake, Sophie Lorusso and Kevin Anang give an overview of Zurich’s experience of hosting 10,000 Black Intern placements. This includes the creation of the business case and setting up the placements, through onboarding and supporting the interns, to next steps and plans for the future.
This webinar is intended to support insurance industry firms who are considering participating in the 10,000 Black Interns programme by offering insight into the logistics of offering placements in insurance.
Sally Blake and Kevin Anang provide a brief overview of the business rationale for participating in the programme and the aims and objectives that Zurich set out for the first intake.
Sophie Lorusso will then provide a summary of the process of setting the placements up, onboarding the interns, and wrapping the programme up for the year.
The speakers share some key learnings and things we will be considering in 2023, before opening up to the floor for Q&A.
