Design-related exposures post-Grenfell
In this IIL accident webinar, Bryn Hodges and Andrew Kelcher give an overview of what exposures designers face and how such liability and/or duties may have been impacted by Grenfell and its aftermath.
The Grenfell tragedy has drawn into sharp focus the nature of liabilities design professionals may face on building and construction projects, contrasted with those who contract to build or supply products only.
This session explores design liabilities for professionals in this context and also looks at what these design liabilities are, what some of the key legal developments have been leading up to Grenfell in the immediate aftermath and what the future may bring for professional designers.
