CPD visit to Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB)

In this IIL CPD educational visit to Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), attendees will gain an overview of RNIB’s work and vision, understanding the role your organisation can play in creating a more inclusive society for people with sight loss.
RNIB, the Royal National Institute of Blind People, is the UK's leading sight loss charity. They offer practical and emotional support to blind and partially sighted people, their families and carers. They raise awareness of the experiences of blind and partially sighted people and campaign for change to make our society more accessible for all.
In this visit, you will also be able to experience inclusive design in action through a guided tour of RNIB’s award-winning Grimaldi Building, and the work of RNIB adhering to the RIBA Plan of Work and BS 8300. Better design reduces risk. The government has strengthened employee rights, introducing disability pay gap reporting and working with over 120 vanguard companies as part of the Keep Britain Working review, all designed to increase access for disabled individuals. So, join us and explore the commercial and human impact of inclusive employment and accessible customer journeys.
