The Insurance Charity - School Essentials Grant

The Insurance Charity is offering School Essentials grants to help eligible families with the costs associated with their children’s education.
Awards are available to current and former insurance people in the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands who receive means-tested benefits and have children attending primary or secondary school, or sixth-form college.
Grants are worth £250 per school-age child in the UK or €300 per child in Ireland. Funding can help towards school clothing and footwear, school equipment, activities and school trips.
Eligibility is not dependent on an individual’s role within the insurance industry or their length of service. Both first-time applicants and people who have previously received support from The Insurance Charity can apply, while families with more than one child can include multiple children in a single application.
Unlike the charity’s standard financial grants, applicants do not need to have experienced a specific event of misfortune, such as redundancy, to apply.
