Christmas Carols by Candlelight

Members and their guests attended Insurance Institute of London's Christmas Carols by Candlelight in association with the Worshipful Company of Insurers. Singing was led by the Lloyd's Choir and followed by a seasonal reception.

Attendees enjoyed carols in the historic and atmospheric setting of St. Katharine Cree Church, founded in 1280. The present church dates from 1630 and is the only Jacobean church to have survived in London. Handel and Purcell both played the church's organ which was recently restored and was be played again on the night.
