Aviation reinsurance
In this IIL aviation & space webinar, Monica Moldenhauer talks about the fundamentals of aviation reinsurance and some of the challenges facing reinsurers in this sector.
Aviation reinsurers are an integral part of the aviation insurance marketplace, providing vital capacity to direct insurers. In this session, the speaker discusses the different types of treaty reinsurance available, including proportional quota share and non-proportional excess of loss. Monica also explains the risks that are typically reinsured and the underwriting factors that go into assessing a treaty portfolio.
Finally, Monica also gives her perspective on some of the challenges facing aviation reinsurers and how these are impacting the coverage and capacity available.
