The world around us is constantly changing, and so is the risk landscape alongside it. Traditional insurance products and channels may no longer be fit for purpose, creating the perfect storm for innovators. Over the last few years, we have seen insurtech offering fresh thinking and creative solutions in response to evolving customer needs. Similarly, the conception of the Lloyd’s Lab back in October 2018, coupled with the Product Innovation Facility, has put innovation back at the heart of the Lloyd’s market. While seen as disruptors, they are changing our industry for the better. This is insurtech for good.
