In this IIL London Market webinar, Andy Stevenson and Alex Booth, Partners of Elborne Mitchell, gave participants an understanding of the UK legal position with regard to sanctions legislation, both pre and post-Brexit, and focussed on on recent case law and practical tips for the insurance industry.

The webinar will cover several topics including: the UK legal framework of sanctions and the position post-Brexit, the market wordings in the light of the Mamancochet Mining v Aegis case, the EU Blocking Regulation, a recent case law in the field, the latest Lloyd’s guidance and practical tips (eg on dealing with OFSI / OFAC).
