Insuring the sharing economy
In this IIL accident webinar, Chris Moore discussed the sharing economy and the challenges in creating dynamic insurance products to support an economy that continues to grow exponentially.
Chris gave an overview of the history of the sharing economy and how it has evolved. He summarised the different types of platforms that operate within the sharing economy, the different risks they face, and how the Apollo team are creating tailor-made insurance solutions to cover these risks.
Finally, Chris looked at what the future holds for the sharing economy and how this will impact insurance and how insurance will need to continue to evolve to support this growing industry.
