The sales mindset - how anyone can succeed in sales
In this presentation, the first in the YMC Skills Series, Nick Thomas dispels the myth of the 'natural salesperson', revealing the real skills required to be successful, how many of these skills are common to those required for client management, and how the rest can be developed through purposeful practice.
Nick examines why people develop limiting beliefs, and unhelpful thought patterns around sales, and explores how to overcome them. Building an understanding that good salespeople are made and not born, and how anyone can be good at sales if they have the correct mindset and perseverance.
This empowering session draws on research from neuroscience and psychology, learning lessons from the worlds of business, elite sport, and the Special Forces.
