Meet the authors: Digital assets & insurance (RS 270) – a new book from the IIL
We are excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Research Study Report - Digital Assets and Insurance (RS 270) and invite you to meet the Study Leader, Peter Wedge FCII, and his team of co-authors, including Ben Davis, Chris Recker, and William Gow - who will provide fresh insights into insuring digital assets, like cryptocurrency.
As digital assets, ranging from cryptocurrencies and stablecoins to tokenised securities and NFTs, move closer to mainstream adoption, the question of how to insure them becomes increasingly relevant. While the underlying technology continues to evolve, the insurance industry faces a distinct set of challenges in understanding, pricing, and underwriting these intangible risks. This seminar gives a comprehensive and practical examination of the current state of insurance for digital assets, featuring contributions from a digital asset broker, loss adjuster, lawyer, and wordings specialist.
The presentation will be followed by a networking reception, during which the authors will be available to answer your questions about the new book.
The book is available for purchase now!
