Accelerated learning & memory techniques

Join us in the Old Library at Lloyd’s to hear Rob Murray outline, with practical examples, a range of different memory techniques to assist students when preparing for exams or wider business or personal situations.

​In this session, Rob explains that learning and retaining large amounts of information does not require natural ability and that the techniques he covers can make a significant difference. Ro makes it clear that the techniques require practice, preparation and adaption, as essentially these techniques concentrate on an individual identifying for themselves which memory principles work best for them, and then building a pattern of studying around that.

Learning objectives:

• An introduction to a number of memory principles and accelerated learning techniques
• Practical illustrations of these techniques
• An introduction to effective, yet non-standard, approaches to memory and learning, which can be applied to formal, informal study, and wider business or personal situations.

Registration closes at 12pm two working days before the event date
For events held in The Old Library, Lloyd's pass holders may also attend and do not need to register
Original Photo ID (Driving Licence, Passport, Work ID with company logo and full name) is required to gain entry to all venues

Conditions:

• Email confirmations and original photo ID must be produced to security staff at the lecture venue
• Attendance confirmations are non-transferable to any other person or lecture
• All venues have limited capacity and registration and/or a Lloyd's pass does not guarantee admission
