D&O Insurance – How did we get here and what happens now?
In this IIL London Market webinar, Mike Lea examined how the insurance market for D&O is changing significantly by looking at the underlying changes to Directors exposures, the impact on insurers in this sector and what this might mean for the future of D&O insurers.
D&O insurance protects the personal liability of directors and management of companies, as they navigate the complex and changing regulatory and legislative landscape. Due to increased frequency and severity of litigation and investigations into directors, the availability and cost of this insurance is becoming prohibitive. In some industry sectors, including those most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be no cover at all or only at punitive terms and conditions.
What are the drivers for these changes in the D&O insurance market, and how can firms avoid the worst outcomes in D&O insurance renewals?
By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:
- How the exposures faced by directors have changed and why
- What the future may look like for D&O insurance
- What companies can do to avoid the worst renewal outcomes
Due to the interactivity of the event, places are limited (1000 places) and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
