Online event
Tuesday, 10 November 2020
10:30 am – 11:30 am (UK time)
    • Robert Gardner, Director of Investments, St. James's Place (Co-Founder and Trustee Board Member Red Start)
  • Financial Planning

In this IIL financial services webinar, Robert Gardner talked about what every child should know about how money works and how to make money work for them.

To live a prosperous life, we need to build financial resilience and wellbeing. The great news is we are all living longer and living healthier lives, yet the average person will run out of money 10 years before they die. Which is why every child today should know how money works and how to make money work for them, especially as their money saving habits form by the age of seven. We need to start now to build financial resilience and wellbeing for our children and their future, and explain how, over their lifetime, their money can be a force for good to help save the planet.

By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:

  • The importance of teaching financial education to build a healthy money mindset and the principles of financial prosperity:
    • How to earn it
    • How to keep it
    • How to grow it
