    • David Flandro, Managing Director, Analytics, Hyperion X
  • Webinar

In this reinsurance webinar, David Flandro gave an up-to-date overview of the state of the sector, the effects of Covid-19 so far, both on the asset and claims side, and future projections.

David gave a high-level overview of the state of the sector as it evolves in the new business and operating environment created by Covid-19. Trends were analysed from the perspective of underwriters and risk managers, as well as reinsurers. The presentation identified areas of greatest potential impact, discussed the viability of current loss estimates, and reviewed three potential future scenarios based on differing outcomes. The acceleration of the sector’s transformation and adoption of technology was a key topic

By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:

  • The current state of the reinsurance sector in the wake of Covid-19
  • Possible future outcomes based on a scenario analysis
  • How this has accelerated the shift towards technology in reinsurance
