Female Careers into Insurance Event - Tuesday 5th July 2022

Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) is partnering with iWIN (Insurance women's inclusivity network of the WCI), the Gender Inclusion Network (GIN), the ISC Group and the Insurance Cultural Awareness Network (iCAN) to host an event about Female Careers in and into Insurance.

The event will showcase and celebrate a variety of female career stories from a broad range of roles, levels of seniority and backgrounds and aims to attract women into the insurance profession.

This half-day event will take place at Bayes’ City of London campus in a hybrid format (for in-person or online participation) and will include panel discussions and a networking reception.

14:00-14:45 - Kicking off in the insurance sector

A panel of young women who have recently entered the industry will tell their stories of how they got their roles, share advice, and talk about their experience so far.

15:00-15:45 - The Business Behind Insurance

This session will discuss a large variety of roles within the insurance sector including and beyond claims, broking, underwriting, business and data analysis, exposure management, marketing etc.

15:45-16:30 - Break

16:30-17:15 - Female Insurance Leaders

Senior female leaders are sharing how they started and progressed their careers, share advice, and speak about career journey

17:15-17:45 - How to Land a Position in Insurance

Career focused session on how to position and brand yourself to get noticed and land a role.
