DIVE IN is a global movement in the insurance profession to support the development of inclusive workplace cultures.

DIVE IN is a global movement in the insurance profession to support the development of inclusive workplace cultures. Its mission is to enable people to achieve their potential by raising awareness of the business case and promoting positive action for diversity in all its forms. Events are taking place across 35 countries world-wide, attracting more than 30,000 people, with virtual sessions, allowing for even more of a global reach. More information can be found here.

DIVE IN takes place 27th – 29th September 2022, after two years of on-line delivery only, the festival is returning to in person events! DIVE IN’s theme for 2022 is Braver Cultures – Psychological Safety covering a range of topics: Social Mobility; Disability; Gender Parity; Intersectionality; Physical Health and Wellbeing; Mental Health; Generations/Aging Workforce and Race & Ethnicity.

The CII will be participating and co-delivering two exciting events – Firstly, “6 steps to Racial Inclusivity - enabling and leveraging in response to Regulators.” Secondly, a practical CII CPD accredited workshop on Allyship – “How companies can build trust within their communities and society”. Colleagues within the CII are creating, collaborating and co-delivering these events with stakeholders across the profession.

The first online exhibition of the Insurance Museum launches with a bang this autumn, when Fire! Risk and Revelations goes live on 7th September. The launch coincides with the timing of the Great Fire of London – the event that was instrumental in highlighting the need for fire insurance, back at the end of the 17th century.
