New IIL Deputy President for 2021-22 announced
27 September 2021Christopher Lay ACII, CEO, Marsh UK & Ireland, UK Country Corporate Officer, Marsh McLennan, was elected Deputy President of the Insurance Institute of London (IIL) for 2021-22 at the virtual AGM on Monday 27 September.
Commenting on his election, Chris said "I’m delighted to take on the position of Deputy President and have the opportunity to serve the Insurance Institute of London and support its vital work. I’d like to thank the Vice Presidents and Council for electing me. I’d also like to thank Anthony for his excellent leadership, and to congratulate Julian on his election.
At this time of immense challenge and opportunities, our industry has a critical role to play in ensuring we can capture the possibilities ahead. I look forward to working with the members and Council to maintain the vibrancy and success of the Institute."
