Chair Yoga

Online event

  • Wellbeing Programme

Join us for a yoga session, specifically designed to combat the strain and tension from working at your home or office workstation.

Sitting hunched over a computer can lead to increased pressure on your neck, shoulders, and spine. This yoga session will incorporate specific moves to minimise the negative impacts of home/office working, improve posture, release tension, and leave you energised for the day ahead.

Samantha will lead you through a gentle seated flow to help you move, stretch, and reconnect to your breath and body.

If you have an injury, are pregnant or have a question please email Samantha before class - samanthaerinhale@icloud.com

You will need the following:

  • A laptop or screen large enough to see Samantha
  • A chair
  • A clear space to practice, free of obstacles and (if possible!) interruptions
  • A bottle of water

Give yourself plenty of time to set up, log on and get comfortable before the class starts.

Due to the interactivity of the event, places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

By joining this online class, you understand and agree that you are doing so at your own risk. The IIL is not liable, under any circumstance or in any way, including but not limited to limitations of video instruction, the failure of the student to use a proper technique or to provide a safe space for practice.

Registration for this event is free of charge, but if you are able, please consider donating to Barking Foodbank - the IIL's Charity Partner.
