Join us for the next instalment in our Wellbeing Programme – a 60-minute interactive workshop which will exercise both mind and body with practical hints and tips on how to look after yourself and others.

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week was nature. This session will begin by exploring the key differences between mental health and mental wellness and how nature and the environment can impact our mental wellbeing.

This will be followed by a 10-minute introduction to Pilates to help combat the mid-afternoon slump before moving onto a breathing exercise which will help reduce tension and relieve stress. The session will finish with a short, guided Yoga Nidra - a form of meditation, to help you approach the rest of the day with a clear and focused mind.

You will need the following:

  • A laptop or screen large enough to see Samantha
  • A yoga mat or towel/blanket
  • A jumper and/or blanket
  • Slippers or socks
  • A clear space to practice, free of obstacles and (if possible!) interruptions
  • A bottle of water

Give yourself plenty of time to set-up, log on and get comfortable before the class starts.

If you are pregnant or working with an injury that Samantha should be aware of ahead of class, please let her know via email and she can provide specific guidance during the session - samanthaerinhale@icloud.com

Due to the interactivity of the event, places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

By joining this online wellbeing class, you understand and agree that you are doing so at your own risk. • More than 700,000 of those supplies went to children
  • During the first two months of lockdown, Barking Foodbank provided more than 8,300 meals to people in need
