Join the YMC for the first of its three-part ESG series - '10 things you need to know about climate and sustainability'.

Kicking off the first in a series of IIL YMC events focusing on ESG, this introductory session led by Jack Watt, VP of Climate & Sustainability Strategy at Marsh, will help you understand the difference between climate, sustainability and ESG - all key terminology in common use around this topic. We will discuss current trends in ESG, how these relate to risk and insurance, and what can be done within your organisation.

Learning objectives:

  • Define and understand the differences between climate, sustainability and ESG
  • Understand some of the current trends in risk management and insurance
  • Correlations between ESG and risk
  • Why insurers care about climate: transition, mitigation and adaptation
  • What you can do to impact change in your organisation
