In this interactive webinar, Alison Cooper FCII will guide participants through the required study skills and exam technique for LM1 (London Market Insurance Essentials) by focusing on some of the key areas of the syllabus.

LM1 is aimed at employees of Lloyd’s syndicates, brokers, managing agents or members’ agents in an administrative, operational or other support role, e.g., business development managers, underwriting technicians or business analysts.

LM1 - assessment
One hour exam
50 multiple choice questions

Successful completion of LM1 can count either towards the Award in London Market Insurance or Certificate in London Market Insurance – Cert CII (London Market).

By the end of this webinar attendees will have gained an insight into:

  • An introduction to study/exam techniques required for LM1
  • An effective approach to using the CII study text
  • Some of the key areas of the LM1 exam syllabus
  • Help with building foundation insurance knowledge and how to approach multiple choice questions

Participants will need to enroll directly with the CII to pay for their own study texts and exam entry for LM1.
