Insuring Women's Futures (IWF) Report Launch

CII launched its public Manifesto proposals and recommendations to improve women’s financial resilience in the UK, and to participate in the Talk 2 10k “MakeEachMomentCount” campaign to raise awareness across society.

The aim is to help empower all women in the UK to secure their financial future. Today, while women’s economic power is improving, progress remains slow and many women still face significant barriers to their financial lives. On top of this, findings highlight differences in how women and men experience money and finance.

At the event, attendees were walked through the proposals and recommended actions, showing you how, if implemented, these will improve the financial life journeys experienced by many women across UK society, and how they will also benefit men too. The Manifesto recommendations are designed to be a catalyst for positive change bringing together individuals, employers, businesses, the insurance, personal finance and wider financial services profession, policymakers and the third sector, to help improve the financial resilience and security of women in the UK. Research shows that by improving women’s financial security we will improve financial life for all, and that there are opportunities for business too.
