Summer Networking Evening with the YMC
Join the YMC for a summer evening event, aimed at interns and new-joiners to the industry, as well as those who are already making advances in their careers.
The evening will begin with an introduction to the insurance industry and a strategic networking session hosted by Empower Development followed by a drinks reception on the roof terrace providing a great opportunity to put Samantha Ridgewell’s advice into practice, network with your peers in the market, and meet our committee members.
In today's world, it is widely acknowledged that having a well-maintained internal and external network is key to developing business opportunities and to career development; at the same time, there is a large proportion of people who dread networking events and struggle with making and maintaining useful contacts.
In this interactive event, Samantha will share practical strategies to help participants, especially those new to the industry, make the most of opportunities and kickstart the growth of their networks.
