Drone incidents at UK airports: what has been learnt?
In this IIL accident lecture James Browning and Barnaby Winckler looked at the risks associated with UK airports from drone attacks.
In their joint presentation, James and Barnaby looked at how insurers can be affected and the lessons that can be learned following drone related disruptions at UK airports in 2018.
By the end of this lecture members would have gained an insight into:
- How the drone attacks happened
- Whether they can be stopped in the future
- Which types of insurance policy can be affected

- Email confirmations and original photo ID must be produced to security staff at the lecture venue
- Attendance confirmations are non-transferable to any other person or lecture
- All venues have limited capacity and registration and/or a Lloyd's pass does not guarantee admission
