Online event
Monday, 22 March 2021
12:45 pm – 2:00 pm (UK time)
    • Alison Cooper FCII, Dip PFS, Director/Chartered Insurance Practitioner, ACT One Training Services Limited
  • Revision

In this IIL revision webinar, Alison Cooper shared her considerable knowledge and experience to provide guidance to candidates to help master the CII Diploma units, with a focus on multiple choice question and coursework. These insights have been gained primarily from her experiences as a CII Senior Examiner and Marker.

Alison explained that with Mixed Assessment, a different approach to studying is needed by CII candidates. Mixed Assessment requires candidates to demonstrate their theoretical knowledge in the multiple-choice exam and their practical knowledge/experience in the coursework component. Alison highlighted an effective approach to CII studies including:

  • How to master the syllabus and focus on learning objectives;
  • How to prepare for the MCQ exam and remote invigilation;
  • How to deconstruct coursework questions;
  • How to plan your written answers to maximise marks.

By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:

  • Focusing on the syllabus and learning objectives;
  • Understanding how to deconstruct coursework questions;
  • Planning coursework answers.

This webinar was aimed at IIL student members who are embarking on their CII General Insurance Diploma studies and wanting to learn more about Mixed Assessment.
