Building a strong and sustainable financial planning profession

Online event
Wednesday, 27 January 2021
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (UK time)
    • Sarah Joanna Lord FPFS, Chief Client Officer, Succession Wealth Ltd
  • Financial Planning

In this IIL financial services webinar, Sarah Lord discussed her theme for the year as President of the Personal Finance Society and shared her thoughts on how we continue to build a strong and sustainable profession.

Now more than ever our clients and society need support around their personal finances, therefore in this webinar Sarah shared her thoughts on why her theme for the year of ‘building a strong and sustainable future for our profession’ is so important. Sarah is passionate about focussing on how the profession continues to come together as a united profession to thrive not just survive for many years to come. The focus of building a strong and sustainable business is predicated on three core themes, which were discussed, namely: promotion of the profession to the next generation of adviser, sustainability of our client relationships and resilient business models that adapt to the changing needs of our clients.

By the end of this webinar members would have gained an insight into:

  • Opportunities to encourage the next generation of financial planner
  • The challenges and opportunities faced across the profession with transition of client relationship from the existing financial adviser/ planner to the next generation of planner
  • The impact of Covid on adapting the business model for a strong and sustainable future

Due to the interactivity of the event, places are limited (250 places) and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

This webinar will be hosted on MS Teams. Please familiarise yourself with their T&Cs and Privacy Statement.
