A two hour briefing presented by Branko Bjelobaba FCII, FCA Compliance Consultant and CII Accredited Advanced General Insurance Trainer.

This event, for FCA regulated firms only, (of relevance to general insurance companies, wholesalers and brokers), will provide a detailed overview of the Consultation Paper (CP17/7) as published by the FCA on 6 March 2017.

Many significant changes are proposed and the directive becomes law on 23 February 2018 - will you be able to make the changes?

By the end of this event delegates will have gained an insight into:

  • IDD proposals (Professional and organisational requirements (to include the whole distribution chain), Complaints, Conduct requirements and Ancillary Intermediaries - these being very onerous for anyone with Appointed Representatives)
  • Questions you are asked to respond to by the FCA
  • New draft Handbook text

In addition all delegates will receive a gap analysis showing how to map across the IDD requirements to allow implementation by next February as the FCA have made it clear that the deadline is fixed and that firms should be working NOW on making the changes.

Session rates:

  • CII/PFS member - £200 + VAT
  • Non-members - £300 + VAT
