Method of operation of the Committee of Representatives:
- The Insurance Institute of London is run by the requirements of its Constitution and Bye-laws
- The total number of Representatives is unlimited
- All Representatives are entitled to attend a Committee meeting
- Representatives elect a Chair from within their number
- It is not possible to self-nominate for the role of Chair. Nomination is by one current Representative
- The Chair is an ex-officio member of the Council of the Insurance Institute of London
- The Committee will meet four times a year. Failure to attend two consecutive meetings without adequate explanation will result in the Representative being asked to stand down
