Event Overview
Being assertive is a key skill and part of having healthy and productive relationships- both at work and in our personal lives. If you are shy, introverted, you find it hard to say no and get overwhelmed dealing with challenging characters, then this training session is for you. With 20 years experience in both the public and private sectors, Michael can show you simple and elective techniques and approaches, which don’t require you to change your personality, just add in a bit of assertiveness- and thus get what you want, without hurting yourself or someone else.

Speaker Bio
Michael Quigley, BA (Hons) 1st class, MA, PGCE, is a former primary school teacher with extensive experience of teaching, coaching, leading and team membership, coupled with a life-long enduring passion for and interest in fitness, wellbeing and growing people.
He is a twice published author of Guidelines for a Wholistic Happy Life and Loving Leadership. His award winning Kataholos Online Learning Platform empowers and motivates over 8000 members in 100 countries. He is a regular blogger and his motivational Podcast, Food for the Journey is listened to and enjoyed worldwide by business professionals.
He has over 20 years of teaching experience and has delivered training sessions for the CII both online and in person throughout the UK for the past 6 years.
Michael has an extensive experience in public speaking, delivering for both the public and private sectors regionally, nationally and internationally, in 3 continents, and now also offers webinars in spanish too.
One of his favourite recent deliveries was for Russell Bedford International at their Senior Leadership Conference in Montreal Canada, where he delivered a a keynote speech and workshop on World Class Leadership.
