Insurance Institute of Guernsey Annual Dinner 2023
On behalf of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey, our Annual Dinner will take place at the Duke of Richmond Hotel on Friday 13th October 2023.
This year, we are taking a fresh view and the event will be ‘Black Tie or Business Attire/Dinner Dresses’. The event commences at 6.45pm, followed by dinner and speeches at 7.30pm.
Once again, after last year’s performance, we will be welcoming ‘The Underdogs’ back for after dinner entertainment.
The price of a ticket is £57.50 exclusive of wine. We are excited to announce that members currently undertaking CII or PFS exams, whom have passed an equivalent exam in the last 12 months, will receive a 50% discount on ticket prices. Confirmation of this will required by your employer.
A table comprises of ten to twelve seats. Please note – it is usual for company groups of less than 10 to be mixed on one table, but prior agreement must be sought if this is the case and it is not always possible.
To book your table please email iiglunch@islands.gg by Friday 15th September. The attendee details schedule, including menu choices to be submitted by Friday 29th September. Payment is to be made by bank transfer and an invoice will be provided. Please do not contact the hotel in respect of food choices or attendees, including any changes that need to be made prior to the event.
Wine list and details of how to order are included on the wine order form. To order your wine, please complete the form and return direct to the Duke of Richmond along with payment, 10 days prior to the event.

We are trying to engage with as many Employers and Members new & old this year following the newly appointed council. The Dinner is self-funded and with council’s contribution to the recognition of members under-going exams, we are asking Companies if they would be kind enough to contribute towards sponsorship of the dinner this year of future years. Any sponsorship is not only greatly appreciated but helps towards our aim of making this a great evening for insurance and personal finance professionals.

There will be a card machine provided this year so there will not be a requirement to bring cash!!
The evening is a celebration of the success of our colleagues in their professional qualifications, which will be recognised during the evening and we encourage all students to attend.
