Employer's Liability
Many business have employees to conduct their business. Some businesses also use sub-contractors for certain elements of work to complete a project. This course will explore who is classed as an employee, and the associated risks that an employer carries. We will explore the relevant laws, regulation and guidelines issued by the Health & Safety Executive, alongside the consequences of not having the appropriate protection in place. Finally, this course will discover the processes that an employer is able to put in place to not only protect their employees, but themselves.

ESG and the FCA
As interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) continues to grow, so does the need for sector specific guidance, potential regulation and reporting requirements. In November 2022 the FCA announced their refreshed ESG Strategy with the aim to “support the financial sector in driving positive change”. In this webinar we tackle what the FCA have to say about ESG, and why it is a priority on their regulatory agenda. We will explore the implications that their strategy and recent discussion paper consultation has for the insurance sector and regulated firms, and what it may mean for future ESG Regulation.
