FCA GI Consumer Duty, Premium Finance and Multi-Occupancy Update
We’ve had Consumer Duty for nearly two years now and the FCA published an update on 11 March 2025. “Firms must find their own approaches to embedding the Duty, based on their size, activities, and resources - these findings provide the extra insight industry have asked for, and show how the information we request is being used to help firms deliver the Duty.” We shall explore where we are with Consumer Duty and the session will also provide and update on fair value assessments to include what makes up broker commissions and how to ensure broker costs are fully understood and a further update on where we are with premium finance and whether commissions need to be disclosed and consent sought from clients.
