Qualifications Accessibility and Special Circumstances Policy & Guidance

A member contacted the local institute to ask about adjustments to take into account and support their neurodivergence. We sought solutions from CII, and they advised us about the following.

The CII Accessibility and Special Circumstances Policy & Guidance, found on the CII website details some ideas of reasonable adjustments the CII can make.

This may be in respect of neurodivergent members, but also any kind of additional needs, circumstances, illnesses etc. that might need to be taken into account.

CII Members can also approach their team for a more specific response. The CII would need to know more about the learner:

the neurodiverse challenges they face;
their learning history;
which elements of the Certificate/Diploma etc. they would need support on and why etc.
