CPD & Wine tasting collaboration event - BIBA East Midlands, Nottingham Insurance Institute & PFS Local
* Highly Recommended Seminar*
As business processes and decision-making become more automated, a question arises as to what extent we still need a human in the loop. Exactly the same trend is occurring in winemaking, with consumers moving towards low human intervention wines (organic). In other words, there is a trend towards less human involvement in winemaking and in insurance and financial services.
What can thousands of years of winemaking teach us about to what extent humans need to remain in the loop?
Through the tasting of 5 different wines, Jeff Heasman will help us to address these issues by combining his doctoral level research into automation of decision-making in insurance with the knowledge, passion and experience he has gained from operating a wine business in Galicia, Spain.
Location: Emilio's Greek Restaurant, 8 High Street, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 7DZ
Timings: Arrival from 5pm, training session with networking afterwards until 8pm
A Greek Mezze buffet will also be served
This is a free event, but please note there will be a £10 + VAT non attendance fee.
All BIBA/Nottingham Insurance Institution/PFS Local training sessions are accredited by the CII and may count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) requirements*, you will get a formal completion certificate if you attend and return a feedback form.
