Young Achiever Award 2025 Launches!

We are happy to announce that we are now taking nominations for our Deputy President's Young Achiever of the Year Award 2025.

The award has been created to publicly recognize and applaud outstanding achievement of young people in our area, within the insurance and financial services markets.

Entry Criteria:

• Candidates or their Nominee must be a member of the CII
• Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2025
• Candidates must have been working in the insurance or financial services profession (any role) for at least 2 years as at 1 July 2025

The judging criteria will focus on three main categories, namely:

• Professionalism: Evidence of promoting and demonstrating commitment to professional excellence.
• Contribution: Evidence of delivering value to either your own business or the profession as a whole.
• Career Path: Evidence of proactively seeking opportunities to progress and develop own capability to support progression through career path.

Completed nomination forms must be received by Friday 5th September 2025.

The nominations will be judged by a panel comprising of Council Members of The Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne. Finalists selected by the panel may be invited to deliver a presentation to The Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The winner will be invited to attend the institute’s Annual Dinner on Friday 17th October 2025 as a guest of the institute. On the night the Deputy President will present the winner with their award and prize.
