Annual Dinner 2025 Highlights

The Insurance Institute of Newcastle upon Tyne was proud to host our 128th Annual Dinner on Friday, 17 October 2025.

The evening brought together professionals from across the Insurance and Financial Planning sectors to celebrate our community, recognise outstanding member achievements and raise funds for a fantastic cause.

Guests heard from our President Omar Din, CII representative Liam Russell, and Juliet Sanders, founder of Feeding Families, whose inspiring and heartfelt speech captivated the room.

We’re delighted to share that the event raised over £6,000 in support of Feeding Families – an incredible reflection of the generosity and spirit of our professions.

The dinner also provided the opportunity to recognise and celebrate excellence within our local community. This year’s award winners were:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning, Cass Prize – Francesca Wylde

  • Diploma in Insurance, Audrey Gough Prize – Magdalena Sikora

  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, Maddocks Prize – Jake Masterman

  • Advanced Diploma in Insurance, Logan Prize – Jason Lovell

  • Deputy President’s Young Achiever of the Year Award – Adam Kinsley

Each recipient was recognised for their outstanding achievements within the professions.

The evenings celebrations concluded with plenty of music, dancing and laughter – a fitting end to an evening of connection and positivity.

Special thanks go to our Council members, volunteers and table hosts for their dedication and support in making the evening such a success.
