Webinar – Directors and Officers and Employment Practices Liability insurance in a plain English nutshell
The webinar will explain the history of D&O and how the D&O marketplace is changing dramatically due to the economy. The sad fact is that many businesses will struggle badly over the next few years and lots of redundancies will have to be made. This will result in a sharp spike in both Directors and Officers and Employment Liability Practices claims. It should also be noted that many more directors are being sued in recent times individually and that the amount of HSE prosecutions have trebled against individual directors since 2015. This is no longer a cover that ANY director can ignore, and ironically if a director refuses D&O without consulting their fellow directors, they have massively increased their own personal D&O exposure. This webinar, presented by Alan Chandler, one of the most popular presenters in the UK, will explore the sources of potential claims for both D&O and EPL. and how to put the right cover in place.

Enabling Womens Careers - Confidence, Calm and Courage - Thriving beyond your comfort zone
In this workshop we are going to take a dive into Confidence Calm and Courage and exploring what might be holding us back and how we can all thrive beyond our comfort zones. This session will be live online on Zoom. It will not be recorded as we aim to create a safe space for members to express themselves, network and grow. These sessions are for all levels of PFS and CII and future topics will be established from member feedback within the group. The sessions are facilitated by Caroline who is a Certified Coach and NLP Trainer, however, these sessions are an exploration for all and so please bring your top tips to share with other members of the group and be open to explore and encourage eachother. The risk posed by Lithium Batteries
Lithium-ion batteries were first mass-produced in the early 1990s. They are performing a key role in the move away from reliance upon fossil fuels however, there are different risks that using lithium to store energy present to property underwriters. This short workshop is designed to draw the underwriter’s and broker’s attention to these risks and why rating and wording alterations may be needed to counter this growing problem.
