£1,000 BURSARY AVAILABLE FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS!

At the Insurance Institute of Mid-Kent we're delighted to announce the creation of two early career bursaries to help secure the succession of the council for generations to come. Each bursary is £1000, to be paid in two instalments (50% at the start and 50% at the end of the year of service).

We're looking for two early career individuals, who meet the below criteria, to join us for our monthly Council meetings and contribute to the success of the local institute.

Conditional on acceptance of the bursary is the requirement that the successful applicants must each:

  • Attend a minimum of 8 council meetings during the 12 month bursary period.
  • Use social media and industry-specific media to share and document their experiences.
  • Organise one event for early career CII/PFS individuals, within budget provided by IIMK
  • Contribute to council business and related initiatives where required.

Successful applicants must:

  • Work in Mid-Kent or the immediate surrounding area;
  • Be a CII or PFS member, or use some of the bursary towards paying for membership;
  • Have 12 months' experience in the insurance or personal finance sector;
  • Be under 35 years of age.

Please ensure that you meet all these criteria before applying.

Please contact Cameron Hooper with a short summary describing how this bursary would benefit you, and what event you would like to plan as part of the bursary requirements (250 words max):
