Welcome to the Insurance Institute of Liverpool.

It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as President of this historic and forward-thinking institute, which has proudly supported the insurance and financial planning professions in our city for almost 120 years.

Our role is to support our members at every stage of their career—through professional development, networking opportunities, and a strong commitment to integrity and excellence.

A key focus during my term as President is to promote insurance and financial planning as rewarding and fulfilling careers for life. These professions offer tremendous opportunities for personal growth, professional achievement, and meaningful impact.

I am also keen to strengthen our engagement with other local organisations, including Financial Liverpool, Regional PFS, Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), BIBA and ICAEW.

Whether you’re just starting out or well into your career, the Insurance Institute of Liverpool is here to support you. I encourage you to get involved—attend our events, take part in our careers initiatives and potentially even join our volunteer led council. It’s a fantastic way to grow your network, give back, and be part of a vibrant professional community.
