Go-Karting Endurance Race!

The Insurance Institute of Guernsey would be delighted to welcome you and your colleagues to a corporate karting endurance race, which is scheduled to take place on Friday 31 May 2024. We encourage teams of 3 to 4 racers to sign up, wherein each racer will then get to contribute 15-20 minutes of pedal-to-the-metal action for the glory of their team!

The Venue

Racers will meet at the Victoria Avenue Track at 17:30 to get kitted out with racing gear and run through the usual safety briefing.

The Format

Racers can expect to be on the track by 18:00 to get some practice in - there will be a brief qualifying session to determine the starting positions of each team. From there on, the endurance race will last an hour, with each team encouraged to change their racers at scheduled pitstops throughout the event so that everyone gets their fair share of time in the racing seat.

The Cost

The entry cost per team is £100, equating to £25-£33 per racer dependent on the size of your team. Payment will be sought at the event. At this stage we are seeking to confirm the number of teams which would like to participate. Please email iiglunch@islands.gg to declare your team and sign up!
