Annual Dinner
| The Insurance Institute of Guernsey's annual Dinner will take place at the Duke of Richmond Hotel on Friday 15 October 2021. The 'Black Tie' event commences at 6.45pm with a complimentary glass of bubbles, followed by dinner and speeches will be served at 7.30p.m. Our after dinner entertainment this year is the legendary City Limits. In these strange times, we wanted to keep things local and who better to entertain us, fresh from their successful balcony gigs and tours of Sark and Alderney. The price of a ticket is £52.50 exclusive of wine. A table comprises ten to twelve seats. Please note - it is usual for company groups of less than 10 to be mixed on one table, but prior agreement will be sought should this be the case and it is not always possible. To book your table please email loujackson5@gmail.com by Wednesday 22 September. The attendee details schedule, including menu choices to be submitted by Friday 1 October. Payment is to be made by bank transfer and an invoice will be provided. Please do not contact the hotel in respect of food choices or attendees, including any changes that need to be made. Wine list and details of how to order are included on the wine order form. To order your wine, please complete the form and return direct to the Duke of Richmond along with payment, 10 days prior to the event. Accommodation is available at £140 per room per night, bed and breakfast. Please contact the hotel if you fancy a staycation. The event is self -funded so any support is welcome to make it a great evening for insurance and personal finance professionals. The evening is a celebration of the success of our colleagues in their professional qualifications, which will be recognised during the evening. We encourage all students to attend. As we were unable to hold the dinner in 2019, we will be celebrating achievements for 2019 to 2021. Apologises for the shortness of notice of this event, we were not sure we would be able to hold the dinner this year. We are the only institute in the UK who is holding a dinner.
