2024 IIC&G CHARITY GOLF DAY IN AID OF CARING FOR COMMUNITIES AND PEOPLE (CCP)
IIC&G is pleased to confirm that its 7th Annual Charity Golf Day will go ahead on Thursday 20th June 2024 in aid of our new charity partner, Caring for Communities and People (CCP). We are aiming to get 100 golfers (4 ball format) signed up to achieve our 2 tee start and the event will again be held at Brickhampton Golf Club in Churchdown.
The day will follow our usual format being coffee and bacon roll on arrival, practice balls for the driving range, 18 holes golf on the Brickhampton Spa Course followed by a luxury BBQ after your round. Please let me know the names of anyone with special dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or allergies so we can add to the standard menu
Cost will be £59 per person. For Brickhampton members there will be a reduced price of £35. Please indicate where you are a member. Payment details will be sent on booking. To comply with contractual agreements of Brickhampton, any withdrawals within 7 days of the event will still be charged full cost.
This is a charity event so is open to CII members/non-members, friends and family. Good numbers and good company are what's important. A degree of golf experience is sought in order to make the day run as smoothly as possible. Teams of 3/4 sought but we can pair individuals up no problem.
There will be more nearest the pin and longest drive prizes this year and we will keep improving the competition taking into account genuine handicaps and your continued feedback.
On the day there will be raffle ticket and mulligan packages available.
All that you need to do at this stage is let me know if you are interested and like to play. Book using this link or Email me back a lead name in your group and likely team numbers at this stage rather than all the individual names (unless you want to!)
Sponsorship and raffle prizes are the key to a much greater donation to CCP so I am keen to get something from everyone this year. A list of offerings will be made available.

Trolleys and buggies are available. The cost of the buggy is £30 for non Brickhampton members and £17.00 for members. it is first come first serve (5 available) so if you want one please email me back and I will reserve it for you with the pro shop and then it is down to you to collect and pay on the day directly with the shop.
I know some of you are already asking about overnight accommodation. Here is a link to many of the hotels/lodges near to Brickhampton. The site is secure so would be fine to leave cars overnight. If you want any advice on specific hotels let me know
