About the session:

Discover the power of microbreaks - short, intentional pauses during the workday - to reduce stress, sharpen focus, and prevent burnout. This interactive session introduces practical microbreak techniques and explores the neuroscience behind their effectiveness, helping teams embed sustainable habits for everyday resilience.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define what a microbreak is and list at least three neuroscience-backed benefits of microbreaks in the workplace.
  • Demonstrate at least three practical microbreak techniques that can be implemented during the workday.
  • Track and record their use of microbreaks at least twice per workday using a provided habit tracker.
  • Evaluate their own work routines and identify two opportunities per day to incorporate microbreaks for improved focus and wellbeing.

About the speaker:

The Course will be run by Steve Heath - Co-founder & Director, Mental Health in Business, Trainer, MHFA Instructor.

Steve is a director at Mental Health in Business and an outstanding trainer and speaker, known for his engaging approach as a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor. He is deeply passionate about workplace wellbeing, bringing challenging topics to life through powerful insights drawn from his own lived experience with poor mental health.

Steve is also a qualified Clarity coach and a SOURCE Process & Breathwork therapist, with extensive experience working both one-to-one and with groups. His holistic approach and commitment to empowering others make him a sought-after voice in the field of workplace mental health and wellbeing.
