Webinar: An overview of commercial package insurance
This webinar will provide a practical look into the various sections of a typical commercial package insurance policy, what is covered and what protection a commercial customer actually obtains, so that brokers, underwriters and claims staff alike can be confident when explaining the different sections of cover.
The reality is, that many commercial customers do not always appreciate the breadth of their cover, and as such the discussion tends to too often focus on price rather than cover and quality. This webinar will look to put the onus back on the essentials of cover and quality so that customers can make informed decisions.
The presentation will be provided by Alan Chandler, one of the most popular speakers within the UK, and Alan in his usual plain English style will outline the main areas of cover, the history of package insurance and how sums insured should be correctly set. The webinar will be suitable for anyone working with commercial package insurance be they brokers, underwriters or claims staff.

Webinar: A Plain English Introduction to Engineering insurance and inspection
A Plain English Introduction to Engineering insurance and inspection
This is an hour’s presentation looking to provide a plain English overview of the Engineering insurance market, which is often shrouded in mystery and badly understood. We will look at both the inspection and insurance cover elements of Engineering insurance.
Because engineering as a product is so misunderstood, there are enormous amounts of equipment across the UK that have no explosion cover despite the client having an 'All Risks' wording! The same problem applies to inspection where clients are often breaking the law by not getting an item inspected but do not realise this. For brokers this is a missed income opportunity and a significant professional indemnity exposure.
This webinar, delivered by Alan Chandler one of the most popular presenters in the UK, is very appropriate for brokers, underwriters, claims staff and loss adjusters as well as anyone else who wishes to gain a greater understanding of the insurance marketplace.

This session is designed to draw the underwriter’s and broker’s attention to these risks and why rating and wording alterations may be needed to counter this growing problem
