It’s also a chance to find out more about our institute and events and how we can support you in your career. CII and PFS members, colleagues and non-members are all welcome to attend this free event. However, spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Active listening and non-judgemental communication are superpowers for successful leaders. This session is aimed at anyone wishing to elevate their communication skills. The aim of the session is to help attendees to understand the benefits of active listening and non-judgemental communication, and how they can both be put into practice, to contribute to a psychologically safe and healthy workplace.

Using our time effectively is a key skill that we all need. How well do you manage your time? Do you find it hard to prioritise your workload and struggle to meet deadlines? Join this interactive session to learn practical tools and strategies that will enable you to be more effective at managing your time.

Our next Annual Dinner will be taking place at the prestigious Grand Hotel in Brighton on Friday 30 January 2026. Guests can be guaranteed a warm welcome as they enjoy a welcome drink and canapés on arrival. These will be followed by a main course and dessert which will both be served as a sit-down meal. Once the formalities have been concluded, you will have the opportunity to play at our casino tables or to dance the night away to Murdoch's Crazy Eyes band as you socialise and network with fellow insurance and financial services professionals from across Sussex and beyond.

We are delighted to host our thirteenth annual conference once again on Tuesday, 24 March. The event offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of education, debate, and networking.
