Annual Dinner 26 September 2025
Our Annual Dinner will be held on Friday, 26th September 2025 at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Festival Park, Stoke on Trent.
This year’s joyous event will comprise a 3 course dinner followed by our President's Address, Guest Speaker - Dr Helen Phillips (CII Board), Young Achiever Award and Disco. Dress code is black tie and evening dress.

Young Achiever of the Year Award 2025
We are pleased to announce that the President's Young Achiever of the Year Award 2025 is now open for nominations/applications. Do you have someone in your organisation who could follow in the footsteps of our 2024 winner, Cameron Turner?
The award is to publicly recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements of young professionals in the local insurance and financial services market.

Finalists selected by the panel will be invited to attend the Institute’s Annual Dinner as a guest of the institute. On the night the President will present two awards; the Highly commended finalist with their £75 prize and the Young Achiever overall winner with their £200 prize and trophy.
The closing date for entries is Friday 25th July 2025.

March 12th 2025 webinar - Embracing neurodiversity in Insurance
This one hour webinar session is designed to enhance understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace. The session aims to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment for neurodiverse employees.
By the end of the presentation, participants will have a deeper appreciation for the strengths that neurodiversity brings to a team and will be empowered to help foster a culture of acceptance and support.

Snooker Tournament - Wednesday 5th March 2025
Our annual Snooker tournament is arranged for the evening of Wednesday 5th March 2025.
Gather together a few of your mates (they don't have to be CII members) and compete for bragging rights. Entrance fee is £6 per person. Meet at the Plaza in King Street, Fenton ST4 3NA at 17.45 for 18.00hours start.
