Insurance Institute of Norwich Annual Dinner 2025
Norwich Insurance Institute 2025 Annual Dinner
On Friday 10th October, the Assembly House in Norwich was transformed into a glittering hub of celebration as the Insurance Institute of Norwich (IIN) hosted its Annual Dinner…and what a night it was!
With every ticket snapped up, the venue was buzzing with energy as professionals from across the region came together to toast achievements, reconnect with colleagues, and raise funds for a truly meaningful cause.
This year’s chosen charities are The Insurance Charities, the UK and Ireland’s dedicated support network for insurance professionals and their families, and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity very close to our President Kris’s heart. A huge and heartfelt thanks to the generosity of our guests! We’re thrilled to share that £1,200 was raised on the night! Every penny will be split between these two charities, helping to support those who need it most.

- Alex Clegg (Chartered Insurer Vice President of Local Institutes)
- Laura Benedetto (President of the Insurance Institute of Cambridge)

- Henry Borland (Director at Hope-Borland Associates)

Throughout the evening we heard from Kris Locker, Alex Clegg, Amaia Robbins and Daniella Beacock. Each one of them showed their commitment and passion for the industry, the CII and our local institute and shared their gratitude for our guests and sponsors, without you this night would not be possible!
“The annual dinner is always the highlight of the Institute’s social calendar, and this year was certainly no exception! Our dinner secretary Daniella Beacock organised everything to perfection, and Girls that Mix were a huge hit for our evening entertainment! From the outset, Kris had one request: “I want glitter and fun.” And thanks to Daniella and the Dinner Committee, that’s exactly what we got, and more!
“It has been a genuine pleasure to organise this year’s annual dinner, and I sincerely hope that everyone enjoyed the evening as much as I did. From the outset, Kris expressed that he wanted a party, and I trust we succeeded in delivering just that. It was wonderful to see everyone embracing the glitter ball theme with such enthusiasm, donning their sparkles and dancing the night away.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks for the generosity shown during the raffle, congratulations to the winners!
I am truly grateful to all who attended and offered their support in any capacity. we look forward to welcoming many of you again next year for another wonderful evening, which is already in the works so watch this space!” – Daniella Beacock
The evening’s entertainment, Girls That Mix, were a huge hit, keeping the dance floor alive and the party going strong. The raffle was a great success too, congratulations to all our winners!
Whether you were reconnecting with old friends or making new ones, we hope you had a fantastic evening. It was wonderful to welcome so many familiar faces and some new ones too!
We’re already looking forward to our next event, and we hope to see you there.
Until then, thank you for being part of such a special night. And a big thank you to Daniella Beacock and the Dinner Committee for organising such a wonderful evening!
“I want to start with a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our 2025 Annual Dinner. I had the best night and truly couldn’t have wished for anything more.
A special thank you to all our amazing sponsors, and of course to every single person who came along, your support was so gratefully received. Thanks to your generosity, we raised a fantastic £1,200 for my two chosen charities!
Dani, I can’t thank you enough for your incredible organisation skills. I’d love to take credit for the theme and entertainment, but let’s be honest, all I said was “I want glitter and fun”, and you delivered that and more! The Glitter Ball theme was spot on, and Girls That Mix were an absolute hit. You definitely brought the brief to life.
As I continue through the rest of my presidential year, I’m really looking forward to getting to know more of you across the region and supporting you wherever I can, whether through future events or CPD opportunities.
Thanks again to everyone who made the evening so special!” – Kris Locker
